FAQ
Common questions about recipes, artwork, privacy, and accounts.
What's a "recipe"?
A recipe is a ready-made mockup scene — a framed print, a tote bag, a phone on a desk — tuned to place your artwork convincingly. You bring the art; the recipe brings the scene.
What artwork works best?
Logos, designs, patterns, and illustrations. A transparent (PNG) or clean background gives the most predictable placement. High-resolution files hold up better when the mockup is rendered large.
Can I control where my artwork goes?
Yes — add optional placement guidance before generating (e.g. "center it on the mug"), or generate first and refine with a plain-language note afterward. See Make your first mockup.
Are my mockups private?
Yes. Everything you generate is private by default. You can choose to make an individual mockup public to share it — and that saves you 20 credits. See Credits & pricing.
Do I need an account?
You can browse recipes without signing in, but generating a mockup requires a free account and credits.
What can I do with the mockups?
Download and use them in your work. They're rendered at full resolution for real use.
A generation failed — was I charged?
No. If a generation fails, its credits are refunded automatically.
